Behind the Scenes at the Union League of Philadelphia

Go on a tour of the League House and the Heritage Center with Theresa Altieri Taplin, Archivist and Collections Manager. Guests will learn about the history of the Union League and its important role in the history of our city, state and country. You will have the opportunity to view some of the over 300 pieces of art and objects around the League. 


The event will also include a behind the scenes look at the archives of the Abraham Lincoln Foundation and time to explore the exhibition, Discovering Art in Philadelphia, Treasures from Private Collections. The Heritage Center is unique to the city of Philadelphia and a unique space within the Union League. It is designed to allow greater public access to the resources of the Foundations.
